Produce monitoring by the German Organic Producers and Traders Association (BNN monitoring) is a quality assurance system specially designed for organically grown fruit and vegetables.
Today, the great majority of organic wholesalers and importers participate in BNN monitoring. The BNN’s activities consist of taking samples of organic fruit and vegetables on the market every three weeks.
The samples are tested for pesticide residues.
In order to ensure the perfect quality of all produce imported by Naturkost Schramm, we fully advocate the BNN system. We and our customers see the BNN test results as a certificate of excellence for the quality and safety of our products.
Our participation in the BNN scheme means that you can be sure our produce is organically grown and not treated with pesticides.
